Workshops and Events

At Gleneden Family Farm we host a range of farming, heritage and homesteading workshops and fun family-friendly farm activities throughout the year, for kids and adults. You can come along to one of our scheduled events or contact us to design and book your own private experience.

Gleneden farm activities are short (2hrs) and fun farm experiences ideal for kids and families looking for a taste of farm life. Activities can include: cow milking, animal feeding, damper making, leather-work and blacksmithing.

Workshops are a more in-depth hands-on learning experience where you have the opportunity to develop your skills over 1-2 days of learning and activity. Our workshops are designed with your group’s interests in mind from beginners to more advanced and include: the art of bullock driving, timber-work, green-hide whip making, bush blacksmithing and more homesteading skills to come.
